To be fair having a baby is a fair enough excuse! Such a a shame you won't be there Spam but I think my uni is starting later this year so I will absolutely schedule the 1st Sep into my diary ;o) I am also home early May until next uni year so hopefully will be able to meet bubba before then anyway. Everyone else, cannot wait until Aberdaron- it's an annual highlight in my calendar!

My birth date - Justified!

Look ok, I'm sick and tired of having to justify the dates for the party, its the weekend closest to April 16th I can get, so deal with it ladies, K!

It may be cold, it may be windy and it may be rainy but come on guys, it's also so much fun, proper team building styley, a unified front in the face of adversity and all that!

It may be inconvenient for some but honestly now I can't have it later really cos I just can't get the time off work, and for all of you slacker student/teachers out there you should be happy it tends to be over your easter holidays, so it means you can spend even more time at home!

I hope you forgive me for the date but its not going to change.

Lucy was born at the wrong time of year

Why oh why is Lucy's birthday always in April, when I'm always busy? Last year I had finals, this year I have the last weeks of pregnancy. I have to suffer Aberdaron envy every Spring, Lucy- I suggest moving your birthday to the summer, at a time that's more accessible (and sunnier).
Would anyone like to come up to Bangor for the 1st September- it's my birthday and I'm going home this year because Dan and most of my friends are going to a festival that weekend but I don't want to go with a three month baby. So instead I'm going home and you can all come and meet mini-me and then we'll leave it at home with its granny and go out to eat somewhere.

Ginges' bed

I never thought I would enjoy sleeping in Ginges' bed so much! (Thanks Ginge - hope Cardiff was fun?)

Had a brilliant weekend in London, wish I could have met up with more people but it's amazing how time flys. Saw Gwil on Sat pm, was quite boozy, danced very badly, very late but loadsa fun. Had lunch on Sunday with some friends who have been at aberdaron for the past couple of years, Chris, Kylie and Liam, who have all confirmed for 07 which is great! Remeber to let me know if your coming.

Off to Stockholm this weekend, anyone else gonna be there, just on the off chance?

Aberdaron 2007: Friday 13th - Monday 16th April

Another year and another party and once again we're planning to have a wild time at Wild Thyme! (See what I did there?) And once again the more the merrier!

As you can see from the dates above this years festivities will take place over Friday 13th so I was thinking (and you know how many great ideas I have) why don't we do a themed eve? I'm thinking horror (but please no violence, just fear)? Let me know if you have any other ideas or want to develop the theme more and we can start the ball rolling.

I'll be there from about midday on Friday if not before so turn up as and when, and the earlier the better!

Will add some pics of 2005 & last year (a la Kate) when I get on a computer that has my pics on.

Hello!!!

Finally figured out how to do this so am going to go the whole hog and try an post some pics as well!! Am having a tres quiet day, can't do much as am trying to save money before moving into my new flat, its v posh but I am worried that won't be able to afford the luxuries of food etc for a while. Gonna watch the rugby, they are all so rough and ugly but I find I do love all those brave Welsh boys!! Go on Wales!!!!

hey all, just to say hello, no exciting news but lucy said to write some post so i am, off skiing next sat {17th} and cant wait, mind you looks like there will be more snow here, anyone get to do any sledging, most of gloucestershire was off work but as it always is i live so close to work that i i couldnt really use it as an excuse! never mind - hope you all have fun in the snow

Lucy in London - Sat 17th Feb 07

hope you all had a wonderfully action packed weekend, I'm a lil' gutted 'bout the Rugby but hopefully we were just treating it as a warm up game and it'll pick up ready for Scotland.

Just a quick note to see if anyone is about in Londres on Sat 17th Feb, I'll be meeting up with Gwil on the Sat pm and we're hopefully gonna go out? So if anyone else is up for a night on the tiles let me know. Lunch on Sunday sounds like a good idea too if anyone would prefer that?! (Bono when you wanna meet up?)

Off to Dublin this weekend to see Hanny, if anyone else is about (Dan?) let me know if you fancy dinner? Speaking 'bout trips, Anyone fancy a visit to Edinburgh in May? Hopefully see some other posts up soon?
